Of a good company, ice creams and mothers

  1. Buka puasa with friends at Seoul Garden, One Utama. Great concept, miraculous food!

  2. Aiskrim jagung with milk and nuts.

  3. A mother picking up her child who slipped and fell on the smooth marble floor.

Of stationeries, headshots and the new purple shirt

  1. New stationeries! Coloured pens, highlighters, papers, files and even more pens!

  2. 'Headshots' of Shaky Jelly thanks to FarahZ ;p

  3. Mama's new purple shirt. Since we're of the same size then technically it's my new purple shirt too :D

Of the longest sleep in weeks, Sophie the green Kembara and popping kernels

  1. Waking up from a not-so-pleasant (though somewhat amusing) dream to Mama's voice calling me for sahur.

  2. The sight of my lone car under the shady trees.

  3. Microwavable popcorns with butter ;)

Of Scotsmen, Vaseline and printers

  1. After watching this movie, I have decided that I'm going to marry a Scotsman :D In Scotland, no less ;p

  2. Found my tube of Vaseline as I was flipping the mattress to change its cover. Goodbye bleeding lips!

  3. I love my printer, I love my printer, I love my printer.

Of Hathaway, Disney and spinal taps

  1. This picture of Anne Hathaway. If you disregard the picture from the waist down: I love how she looks standing against the backdrop of old buildings at dusk.

  2. Melissa Disney in this video, specifically when she says: "Don LaFontaine, the man, the myth, the voice of a legend," at 5:10-5:15.

  3. Watching Juno (yet again) and musing over the miracle of life. I still find it hard to comprehend how women are capable of carrying a real-life human being in her belly.

Of thanking gestures, fancy catalogs and the yellow Volkswagen

  1. I made way for a car to get into my lane. He gestured 'thank you' with his hand. I rarely get that from a man.

  2. The 2009 Ikea catalog is out.

  3. As Athirah and I were driving home, we thought we saw an acquaintance making his way through the traffic in his yellow Volkswagen. We verbally willed the cars in front of us to go faster so we could catch up to confirm the identity of the man behind the wheels. Yep! We guessed right! Hehe.

Of edibles, more dates and power-napping

  1. The topic discussed on the radio this morning was your favourite Ramadhan bazaar edible(s). A young man called up to say that his favourite find at the bazaar would be the tepung pelita. That's my favourite too :)

  2. A classmate who wishes to remain anonymous (though we think we may have a vague idea as to who this person might be ;D) bought boxes of dates for everyone. Yep, that's one box each--for all 18 of us.

  3. Ikeen brought a mat. The two of us napped right in the middle of the class covered in a shawl and a kain pelekat each as we were waiting for our 4pm class to begin.

Of the morning sun, petrol and chicken rice

  1. There are days when my bathroom is capable of capturing the morning sunlight in the most beautiful way. This morning, was one of those days :)

  2. The sight of a full tank as I clambered into my car. Courtesy of Ayah.

  3. A young boy of about eight helping his family at the Ramadhan bazaar. He was yelling: "Nasi ayam! Nasi ayam! Nasi ayam!" at the top of his lungs, paying no attention to the mocking snickers by fellow sellers.
