- Right. So not exactly diligent with my gratitude diary now am I? Haven't updated my blog in ages too, must write something tonight! It's hard to recall on anything good about today especially since I can hardly walk because of the pain, and the painkillers are not WORKING (!) and I'm on my second day of medical leave (tomorrow will make it three)...but I guess maybe I can be grateful for today's breakfast. I had nasi goreng, coffee and roti cicah kari ikan, which was really yummy. Like yum!
- And while having breakfast I watched Troop Beverly Hills. OKla, takde la awesome shit or whatever but Mom and I were laughing at Phyllis. She was so cute :)
- You know what I feel like having right now? Kambing with mint sauce. Yes, kambing with mint sauce! I want!

Of catching people when they fall, the unexpected stranger and getting it just enough.
- This is my favourite version of Time After Time. I've been playing this song in loops since yesterday:
- Here's a shout out to shu subri :) Getting a new comment from complete strangers is exciting especially since you don't expect people to read your blog anymore after being on hiatus for such a long time!
- If you noticed, makanan tu sangat sedap kalau portionnya cukup-cukup je. Kalau berlebih tu rasa dia tak berapa best sangat dah. Hehe.

Of the unexpected princess, the slice of cake and the very upbeat song
- We were duly informed by Suriani today that she is actually Puteri Gunung Ledang.
- A very pretty slice of kek lapis ordered for a meeting, orange and chocolate :)
- "Kami Sedia Membantu" is actually a pretty catchy song. I secretly love singing it.

Of the things unsaid, prayers and the very Malaysian dessert
- I bought a new brown leather journal. To write the things I couldn't bring myself to share with the rest of the world.
- Baca blog Fynn Jamal. Katanya: "...sesungguhnya doa yang tidak diketahui penerima adalah doa yang lebih mujarab khasiatnya." So I prayed for someone today.
- I texted Matt to wish him well when I remembered that he'll be leaving to perform his umrah tomorrow. Matt kata dia akan doakan for the whole class di depan Kaabah nanti.
- Ada agar-agar bentuk castle dekat open house rumah Auntie Zaidar petang tadi. And agar-agar laici yang sedap :)

Of a father's love, the one who is far away and some dessert can never go wrong
- There was a young father with a baby at McDonald's today. He was having his lunch, and his son was sleeping quietly in his carrier.
- Reading Didi's comments on Facebook will always make me laugh.
- Someone made me Osborne Pudding! Thank you :)

Of the wide open road, heaven in a bottle, and being under the spell
- We got out of the house way before 7.20 in the morning today. It was a beautiful feeling, whizzing down the highway with minimal cars in sight :)
- Mom promised that she'll get me a bottle of perfume if she can when she gets back home from Langkawi!
- Good Enough by Evanescence; which was introduced to me by Darren. Beautiful lyrics.

Of being blessed with wonderful people, cancelled classes and remembering things that matter
- This actually happened earlier this week but my heart is still warmed by its thought: I started off the first week post-holiday feeling extremely sick. On Monday I was down with a terrible headache so right after class I spread my mat and slept in the office, covered from head to toe with the kain pelekat I use for prayers. When I woke up after almost two hours of sleep, I realised that one of my classmates had used her shawl to cover me up and another stayed back when everyone else had went home to keep an eye on me. Words can't describe how touched I was and I can't thank them enough for caring at all.
- Found out that we'll only be having one class tomorrow! Yeay!
- I am reminded of that which I've forgotten, and I hope I'll never forget. InsyaAllah.
